A short morning flight brings you south for a cruise (and perhaps some fishing) on the lake before checking in to one of New Zealand’s finest wilderness lodges.

A choice of activities today — fly fishing, helicopter sightseeing, hiking, golf at the nearby championship course or simply enjoying the gardens of this beautiful lodge.

After breakfast, drive to Rotorua for a sightseeing tour including the thermal area of Whakawerawera, Kiwi Encounter and a walk through the beautiful Government Gardens. Later today, fly to picturesque Queenstown.

Day 7: Queenstown / Milford Sound / Queenstown
Weather permitting, take a helicopter to Milford Sound for an unforgettable flightseeing excursion. Then fly back to Queenstown for an afternoon at leisure.

Fly from Melbourne to Ayers Rock in Australia’s Outback, with an afternoon drive to Kata Tjuta (the Olgas).

Day 14: Uluru / Cairns / Daintree Rainforest
An early start this morning as you drive out to watch the sunrise wash over Ayers Rock. Then it’s on to Cairns by air, followed by a drive along the scenic coastal highway to Mossman Gorge, deep in the Daintree Rainforest.

Day 15: Daintree Rainforest
Your day is at leisure to enjoy the many activities offered at the lodge, including mountain biking, canoeing, snorkeling in the Mossman River and guided rainforest walks.

Drive back to Cairns or take an optional helicopter transfer over the rainforest. Then fly to Lizard Island, Australia’s most exclusive Great Barrier Reef resort.
