As you travel through British Columbia's beautiful wine region to Vancouver you will enjoy fine dining, while learning about and tasting distinctive wines including the Mission Hill Estate gold medal winning chardonnay.
Mission Hill Winery: Named the "Winery of the Year" at the first ever Canadian Wine Awards, Mission Hill is famous for its chardonnay, which was the only North American gold medalist at the prestigious 2001 "Chardonnay du Monde" competition.
Your journey will begin with a reception and a live classical performance at the Canadian Pacific Railway Pavilion in the heart of Calgary, Alberta. Once onboard the train you will see live culinary demonstrations by our chefs and informative wine pairing sessions by a wine sommalier in the vintage carriages of the Royal Canadian Pacific. The Royal Culinary, Wine and Music Experience is the ultimate feast for the eyes, the body and the spirit in the heart of Canadian wine country.

You will be chauffeured from the Calgary International Airport to the landmark Fairmont Palliser Hotel. You are invited to a private wine and cheese reception in the Canadian Pacific Railway Pavilion. Afterwards, enjoy dinner in the Rimrock Dining Room. Overnight in Calgary.
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the Fairmont Gold lounge. Then board the Royal Canadian Pacific for the first day of your journey. A gourmet lunch is served as the train ventures toward the heart of the Canadian Rockies. Experience the famous Spiral Tunnels and view the untouched wilderness of Yoho National Park. After lunch, the culinary team will offer the first cooking demonstration. As evening approaches, an extravagant dinner is served, with a selection of ports and ice wines from around the world. Overnight in Sicamous.
DAY THREE
Following breakfast, a motor coach transfers you to a selection of wineries and local culinary treasures in the Okanagan Valley. View beautiful lakes along the way. The adventure continues with a special off-train lunch. Guests return to the train in Kamloops for an overnight stop.
Awake to a leisurely morning breakfast followed by more lively cooking demonstrations as the train now heads east. In the late afternoon the train arrives at Golden for an overnight stop. This evening enjoy live classical music onboard.
A new dawn brings yet another informative culinary session, accompanied by spectacular views of the Kicking Horse River and the Canadian Rockies. In the afternoon, guests may participate in an interactive cooking demonstration. The Royal Canadian Pacific returns to the Canadian Pacific Railway Pavilion where you will once again check into the Fairmont Palliser Hotel to overnight in Calgary.
After breakfast and checkout, a chauffeur transfers you to the Calgary International Airport.
