A leisurely lunch is served on board as the train crosses into Poland with an afternoon arrival in Krakow, an architectural gem and one of Europe’s most beautiful and vibrant cities.

Explore the fascinating city of Krakow at your own pace. From the unique medieval market square with its Cloth Hall full of artisan’s shops selling exquisite amber jewellery to the Cathedral and fortified Royal Castle standing high on Wawel Hill, Krakow is a delight.
Sunday
Enjoy more time to explore Krakow before rejoining the train this evening for dinner and your overnight on board.
Monday
Breakfast is served in your compartment as you approach Vienna, where the train arrives this morning. The remainder of the day and evening is yours to enjoy at leisure. Once the capital of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, this beautiful city is easy to explore. Why not take a horse-drawn carriage ride past the many architectural splendours of the Ringstrasse.
Tuesday
Discover this former leading city of Central Europe. Today's Vienna is a modern city robed in 18th century charm and 19th century grandeur. St Stephen's Cathedral, Belvedere Palace and the State Opera House are just a few examples of the city's magnificant sights.
Wednesday
Perhaps enjoy a stroll around this elegant city before rejoining the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express early afternoon. Enjoy afternoon tea and dinner on board as you continue your journey towards France.
Thursday
A morning arrival in Paris before continuing on to the French coast as brunch is served. After crossing to England, enjoy afternoon tea before arriving late afternoon in London Victoria Station.
